God no.

Nintendo doesn't deserve money especially if they're price gouging in this climate.

Some of my friends might buy it though and it makes me sad that my convictions will stop me from playing Mario Kart with them :(

I do not know if it raises to the level of price gouging. I would genuinely rather have games be more expensive than front loaded with MTX. The fact that fighting games have entirely normalized DLC fighter passes is insane.

absolutely not, im broke af. also nintendo is just so comically evil these days that i'll have to pass. might get a 2ndhand several years from now, but i dont want to encourage their nonsense with my money.
